BAE Systems Australia delivers a total maritime sustainment capability that has been gained from more than 30 years’ experience for the Royal Australian Navy.
Our 1,100-strong team delivers project management, asset management, engineering, and maintenance and supply support services to ensure the fleet is full capable and available whenever the Navy needs it. BAE Systems is working to provide solutions and technology that will advance the way that maritime sustainment is done today.
We’re looking for talent across:
- Project Management (all experience levels)
- Engineering (mechanical, electrical, systems, communication and structural engineering, configuration management, technical writing, asset performance and naval architecture)
- Digital Sustainment (capture, analyse and deliver new technologies and processes)
We also have a number of enabling functions made up of professional teams who support our key programs including: Safety, Health and Environment, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, Commercial and Procurement, Quality, Finance, IT, Strategy and Business Development, Risk Management, Security and Business Improvement and Change.

As part of the Warship Asset Management Agreement (WAMA) alliance, we are working together with SAAB Australia, Naval Ship Management and the Commonwealth of Australia to deliver the ANZAC Mid-Life Capability Assurance Program (AMCAP) – an ongoing upgrade which focuses on updating the ageing platform systems, communications, installation of the Long Range Air Search Radar and general maintenance due to be completed in 2023.
