At BAE Systems Australia we are proud of the men and women who have served our country and are grateful for their sacrifice.

We are committed to supporting the armed forces, veterans and their families. There are many ways we provide support, from our long-term partnership with Soldier On, through to structured fundraising programmes, volunteering and use of our expertise.

As a veteran, you're used to protecting what counts most. Throughout your military career, you've been dedicated to improving security and making the world a safer place. You can continue that commitment with BAE Systems Australia. We're proud to provide solutions and services that advance the strength and security of Australia and our allies and we're honoured to offer an environment where veterans and reservists can continue doing mission-centred work.

We are also committed to supporting you in your job application process. In 2019 we launched a bespoke candidate care program for applicants who identify as Australian Veterans or members of a Defence family. Following an online application, our Talent Acquisition Specialists will make personal contact with you and ensure you get the feedback and support you need throughout the process.

To ensure we deliver the best employment experience to you once you join the organisation, we have established a Veterans Advisory Committee. This national committee comprises Veterans and/or immediate family members of Veterans from across our business. Appointed on a one year term cycle, the committee will work to provide appropriate advice and governance to BAE Systems Australia’s leadership and employees on the issues facing Veteran employees and their families. In doing so, the committee will ensure that we continue to be an attractive and supportive place for Veterans and their families to join and stay.

Soldier On works side by side with those who serve and protect Australia, and their families, helping them to secure their futures. BAE Systems Australia has been partnering with Soldier On since 2015 and has been a signatory to the Soldier On Employment Pledge since this time. The Employment Pledge cements our commitment to the provision of enhanced employment opportunity and understanding to veterans and their families.

We are proud to have now been recognised as a Soldier On Platinum Pledge Partner.

We are proud to partner with such an important organisation to create and support a legacy for Australia's service personnel, veterans and their families.

In addition to our partnership with Soldier On, we have been a signatory to the Prime Minister's Veterans Employment Program initiative since 2018. In that same year, we became a partner of Defence Families Australia , an organisation who support Defence partners to gain and maintain meaningful employment.

We are also proud to work closely with organisations such as Working Spirit and Helping Heroes , supporting Veteran rehabilitation through work placement programs. Our team also participates in ADF Transition seminars and Soldier On employment networking events around Australia, enjoying the opportunity to engage with Veterans and those considering transition about career opportunities.

Additionally, BAE Systems is now an employee partner with the Right Management Job Connections team; a team that works with Defence members, proactively connecting them to opportunities that fit their career goals under the Defence Force Transition Program.

Whether you are a Veteran, serving member considering your next career or are from a Defence family, we encourage you to apply for a position with BAE Systems Australia.
