At BAE Systems Australia we are proud of the men and women who have served our country and are grateful for their sacrifice.
We are committed to supporting the armed forces, veterans and their families. There are many ways we provide support, from our long-term partnership with Soldier On, through to structured fundraising programmes, volunteering and use of our expertise.
As a veteran, you're used to protecting what counts most. Throughout your military career, you've been dedicated to improving security and making the world a safer place. You can continue that commitment with BAE Systems Australia. We're proud to provide solutions and services that advance the strength and security of Australia and our allies and we're honoured to offer an environment where veterans and reservists can continue doing mission-centred work.
We are also committed to supporting you in your job application process. In 2019 we launched a bespoke candidate care program for applicants who identify as Australian Veterans or members of a Defence family. Following an online application, our Talent Acquisition Specialists will make personal contact with you and ensure you get the feedback and support you need throughout the process.
To ensure we deliver the best employment experience to you once you join the organisation, we have established a Veterans Advisory Committee. This national committee comprises Veterans and/or immediate family members of Veterans from across our business. Appointed on a one year term cycle, the committee will work to provide appropriate advice and governance to BAE Systems Australia’s leadership and employees on the issues facing Veteran employees and their families. In doing so, the committee will ensure that we continue to be an attractive and supportive place for Veterans and their families to join and stay.
