As an Asset Performance Analyst, you will be the Logistics Engineering focal point for the Asset Performance Management analyses in your technical systems domain for Platform, Electrical, Combat or Communications systems and will contribute to the long term optimisation of cost and performance outcomes.

You will make your mark by:
• Developing optimised preliminary designs and undertaking Front End Logistics Support Analysis activities to establish design proposals aligned with Mission / Support System performance optimisation outcomes.
• Assessing Operational data, trends and changes for finance impacts and Material Subcontractor Support Solution changes for support impacts
• Assisting in the preparation of business cases for consideration of options to improve Asset performance outcomes;
• Actively pursuing and delivering domain obligations to support the achievement of the Key Result Area and Asset Management Objectives set

As the ideal applicant you will have:
• Significant experience in Logistics Engineering and Logistic Support Analysis with relevant tertiary qualifications
• The ability to use and apply theoretical knowledge and historical data to current situations to understand problems, identify solutions and improve efficiencies
• Well-developed interpersonal skills with the abilities to coach and mentor
• A strong continuous improvement focus

As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
