As an Commercial and Subcontracts Officer you will be accountable for providing commercial support within defined delegations to assist the project teams in effectively managing on-going projects and new business.

As the ideal applicant you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in a legal or a related discipline
  • Previous commercial experience in a similar environment
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal which enable you to build and maintain relationships and negotiate effectively
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to balance conflicting priorities
  • An affinity for working across different cultural boundaries and in international time zones

As Defence security clearance is required for these roles, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.

International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) may be applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
