Description:

As the Reward Advisor, you will work as part of the Reward, Mobility and Workforce Insights team and be responsible for the pro-active management of all aspects of the reward cycle, the provision of expert reward guidance and contribution to a number of reward projects across the Australia business.

In terms of more specific responsibilities, you will:

  • Be responsible for the delivery of the annual reward cycle, including annual salary review, annual incentive plan, and Profit Share Scheme, including development of employee communications and line manager training and the continuous improvement of these processes
  • Provide advice and support to employees on questions and policy interpretation on reward related matters, in particular queries relating to salary packaging, superannuation and other employee benefits
  • Provide advice and consultation to line managers and HR business partners on operational reward issues requiring a consultative approach to understand and diagnose issues before working to develop a solution and influence a change
  • Manage relationships with outsourced service providers, including superannuation fund and salary packaging provider
  • Be responsible for providing input to a number of salary surveys and analysis of outputs
  • Take the lead on job evaluation
  • Keep abreast of developments in reward to ensure best practice is reflected in reward solutions
  • Lead and support research and project related work as required

As the ideal applicant you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a reward (remuneration and benefits)  role
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate with people from different levels across the organisation and to explain complex principles to employees
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong organisational skills, with strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

Whilst not essential, experience with Towers Watson Global Grading and Hay Group job evaluation methodologies will be advantageous
