To ensure these programs are delivered by the very best talent, we invite you to express your interest in joining BAE Systems Australia as an Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) Engineer. As an ICT Engineer you will be accountable for the design and development of ICT systems encompassing server, storage and networking hardware in order to achieve the required business performance.

As an ideal applicant you will have:
• Experience in a similar role preferably within the Defence sector
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering or information technology discipline
• Undertaken ICT system design, including analysis of candidate solutions, design documentation, requirements traceability and participation in design reviews
• Undertaken the translation of the ICT system design into a manufacturable solution, including the procurement of equipment and software, system build and configuration documentation
• Undertaken ICT system installation and integration activities to ensure its realisation and participation in production readiness reviews
• Supported ICT system qualification activities to ensure that the system meets all requirements
• Assisted with the production of ICT system operating procedures and provide support for production ICT systems
• Communicated with vendors to resolve technical issues

As Defence security clearance is required for these roles, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.

International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) may be applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
