About the Opportunity
Due to rapid program expansion, we are seeking applications for this newly created role. As the successful candidate, you will work as part of a specialist engineering team who report to the Product Security Lead Engineer. Overall, you will contribute to and deliver the engineering definition of Cyber Security for Hunter Class Frigate product whilst developing a collaborative approach to Cyber Security compliance across the organization. This will include defining the requirements for the ships systems in relations to Cyber Security, conducting studies and research that establishes the extent to which equipment complies with defined requirements and conducting technical feasibility assessments of equipment designs.
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Completed a degree in an engineering, scientific or similar discipline
- Strong demonstrated understanding of systems engineering processes
- Experience with functional and physical interface definition and control
- Experience with integration of complex systems (in a Naval Combat System environment is preferred)
- Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
