Expressions of interest are now sought from qualified and experienced Aircraft Washers to join our Aircraft Sustainment teams in Williamtown, New South Wales.
A number of permanent opportunities are anticipated to by the end of 2019.
As the ideal applicant you will:
- Hold a Certificate II Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) or equivalent in Avionics, Mechanical or Structural
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role,
- Have an understanding of Australian Defence Force aircraft maintenance regulations and procedures
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Have the ability to work within a strong team environment
- Have a demonstrated commitment to safety
Whilst not essential, previous experience in supporting fast jet aircraft platform will be highly regarded, as will previous exposure to Defence aircraft maintenance environments such as the RAAF and/or RAF.
A Defence security clearance is required for this role. Applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
