About the Opportunity
This is a highly autonomous role but with the benefit of a supportive leader and an inclusive team, you will have every chance to succeed in taking responsibility for the financial control environment and financial internal auditing activities across the Finance function. You will work with a variety of stakeholders – internal and external to our organization to ensure that the governance function is robust and cohesive for all. Adopting a continuous improvement approach to your work you will constantly look for better results. To broaden out your skill set, you will have the opportunity to take on additional projects, such as managing the delegations of authority register and maintaining the library of financial policies and procedures. Additionally, in this period of growth, as our business expands with new projects, your role will too.
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have formal relevant Accounting, Commerce or similar qualification and have completed a CA or CPA. You will be currently working within an audit function where you lead internal or external audits and have working knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and statutory reporting requirements. Additionally, you will a have strong team orientation with a demonstrated history of developing and maintaining relationships with a large range of stakeholders.
