About the OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our Maritime Sustainment delivery team based at Osborne Naval Shipyard.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager (PDO), this role is responsible for driving effective stakeholder engagement, managing program-level resourcing, and ensuring project review readiness. A key focus will be the development and formalisation of project management documentation, frameworks, and governance structures to support successful delivery.
This role will require the application of Project Management principles to achieve desired outcomes within the cost, schedule and quality constraints while managing key deliverables.

Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the formalisation and maintenance of project control structures including the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Organisation Breakdown Structure (OBS), and WBS Dictionaries, ensuring alignment with the approved Statement of Work (SoW) and project governance standards.
- Collaborate with Control Account Managers (CAMs) to define and document detailed scope statements, resource allocations, and cost baselines within each control account, supporting accurate planning and reporting.
- Support the planning and deliveryof scope or integrated work packages ranging from straightforward tasks to more complex, multi-disciplinary efforts, requiring structured project management disciplines.
- Ensure all project scope, deliverables, and constraints are thoroughly captured and agreed upon in key project documents such as WBS dictionaries and baseline plans.
- Maintain and control the integrity of the performance management baseline, ensuring consistent updates to reflect approved changes, and that impacts to scope, cost, and resources are accurately represented and captured within Control Account Plans / WBS Dictionaries.
- Ensure that all deliverables meet customer requirements and standards, including safety, compliance, and quality, throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the scope enablement process through the utilisation of tools and processes and where required, chair and lead meetings.
- Manage and maintain program level resourcing in accordance with CAM Basis Of Estimates and revised forecasts.
- Provide support within the Program Delivery Office, supporting multiple work streams such as risk, issues and change management as required to ensure effective program execution.
- Lead and support where required - internal or external assurance reviews.
About YOU
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management (desirable but not essential)
- Demonstrated experience in project management on significant programs
- Previous experience in assurance reviews
- Familiarisation in ASDEFCON compliance
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft office suite of programs
- Current Baseline defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
