About the OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for a Performance Lead to join our Maritime Sustainment Program Delivery team based at Osborne Naval Shipyard, SA.
Reporting to the Performance Manager, this role will ensure that the technical, cost and schedule goals associated with assigned projects are achieved in accordance with the contractual and company requirements to deliver required business goals.
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the Performance Manager in developing & establishing the live dashboard environment for the Sustainment Program.
- Engage and work with delivery teams to enhance the Program Metrics/KPIs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document business requirements and ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Generation of status reports and co-ordination of variance analysis and corrective action activities
- Work with cross-functional teams to design solutions that meet business requirements
- Coordinate and compile Program Performance reporting from delivery teams ensuring measurements are submitted in line with reporting objectives and quality requirements
- Attend and participate in project review meetings
- Provide recommendations based on data analysis to support business decision making
- As required lead or support the resolution of Program Issues as determined by the Program Lead Team
About YOU
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management or relevant experience (desirable, but not essential)
- Demonstrated experience in a project or business management role
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and management skills
- Experience in Data Analytics along with Project Management fundamentals
- Experience co-ordinating cross-functional teams
- Experienced in dashboard development with Tableau or PowerBI
- Understanding of scheduling integration
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Visio
- Ability to partner with and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to obtain the necessary deliverables
- Capability to identify and solve complex problems, think critically and innovate
- Proven contemporary knowledge and expertise in the use of Business Intelligence tools and techniques to analyse, interpret and present data in a range of formats and forums to address business needs
- High level writing and presentation skills that extend to clear and accurate reports appropriate for a management audience
- Current Baseline Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
