About the OPPORTUNITY
We have an opportunity for Estate & Facilities Coordinator to join our team based at our Williamtown, NSW offices. We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and/or hybrid working.
You will be responsible for:
In this newly created role, as the Estates & Facilities (E&F) Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting the Sites, Estate and Facilities Lead to deliver Asset Management in their area of responsibility to maintain the viability of the Built Environment through maintenance and risk control.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reduce risk to the business through identification, assessment and analysis of facilities risks to projects, personnel and property.
- Develop and cultivate assigned relationships with stakeholders, facilities suppliers and subcontractors to ensure all contracts are delivered on time and to budget.
- Support Workplace Solutions business partnering as day to day interface to business stakeholders ensuring that Service Level Agreements are met for Asset Management services.
- Provide guidance to achieve due diligence across assigned areas by providing risk assessment, maintenance and a safe workplace.
- Develop sound scope of works for maintenance activities.
- Assist the movement of people when required around sites and buildings.
About YOU
- Australian citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Essential).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated experience in the Facilities and/ or Asset Management field with proven ability to understand aspects of Facilities Management services across a property with the ability to advise stakeholders of actions and outcomes.
- Ability to develop sound scope of works for maintenance activities.
- Previously experience in building and maintaining budgets.
- Strong experience in all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
