Role Description:
We're seeking a Project Manager - ICT to join a collaborative ICT project delivery team supporting a diverse portfolio of work across multiple programs and stakeholders.
This opportunity is suited to Project Managers with experience delivering projects within complex environments, who enjoy leading cross-functional teams, engaging stakeholders and driving outcomes across cost, schedule, quality and risk objectives. Depending on experience, you may take ownership of individual projects, multiple work packages, or a portfolio of project activities.
Core Duties:
- Deliver projects and project activities across a varied and prioritised portfolio
- Lead and coordinate activities across matrixed teams, suppliers and key stakeholders
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, reporting and governance activities
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and opportunities to support successful delivery outcomes
- Monitor project performance against cost, schedule and quality objectives, providing accurate forecasting and reporting
- Foster strong stakeholder relationships and a collaborative delivery culture across project teams and customers
- Support project planning, execution, transition and close-out activities, including lessons learnt and continuous improvement initiatives
Essential Skills:
- Demonstrated experience delivering projects within ICT or other complex project environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across multiple levels of the business
- Experience coordinating cross-functional or matrixed teams to achieve project outcomes
- Understanding of project delivery disciplines including scope, schedule, cost, risk and governance management
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously in a dynamic environment
- Experience managing suppliers, subcontractors or third-party delivery partners is desirable
- Earned Value Management (EVM) experience and/or project management qualifications are advantageous but not essential
