About the OPPORTUNITY –
We have a great opportunity for a Test and Support Officer to join our Defence Delivery team, specifically working as part of the Nulka Program based full time onsite at Orchard Hills, NSW – Defence Establishment. You will be reporting to the Site Lead.

You will have a critical role within a team providing Nulka Electronic Decoy Cartridge (EDC) Production and Maintenance to support our Department of Defence Customer.
In your new role as Test and Support Officer, you will with minimal supervision, provide technical support, conduct critical testing, diagnose and resolve technical problems, repair/maintain equipment, contribute to technical documentation, and to performance systems and equipment analysis.
Your core tasks and activities will include:
- Conduct or coordinate inwards inspection and testing of Nulka EDC components - Nulka Configured Items (CI).
- Maintain facility calibration records within Maximo (Computerised Maintenance Management System) and initiate calibration activities
- Conduct activities around Maximo as required to support Work Order process.
- Maintain the facility GFx ensuring control and serviceability of STTE, equipment, test equipment and tooling
- Provide support to engineering investigations and related activities
- Business Quality Assurance delegations
This role will also see you:
- Perform Nulka EDC Production or Maintenance activity as required to back up capability
- Become familiar with the technical workings of the BAE Systems facility information systems and infrastructure to provide technical assistance as directed.

About YOU
- Experience working in Defence or Defence Industry is highly regarded with relevant experience in coordinating and undertaking testing and calibration activities, planned maintenance activities etc.
- Competency in use of ATE and/or other sophisticated electronic testing equipment
- Efficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and general IT systems
- Strong regard for safety, security and quality
- At minimum, a current NV1 Clearance with ability to attain NV2 Clearance
- Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) regulations
- Eligibility to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
- Experience in Explosive Ordnance (EO) is desirable but not mandatory
