Role Description:

We have a new opportunity for an ILS/IPS Supportability Engineering Data Lead to partner with our Maritime Surface Ships acquisition business, working on the Hunter Class Frigate Program (HCFP). This key position within our Integrated Logistic Support (ILS/IPS) group will report to the ILS/IPS Supply Support Team Lead, and will be offered on a permanent and full time basis.

Core Duties:

• Provide support and leadership to an ILS/IPS Support Systems engineering team who review ILS/IPS supplier technical data deliverables, ensuring the data meets the requirements of the program and is fit for purpose for use as source data
• Coordinate the review of ILS/IPS supplier data (Supplier CDRL Deliverables) delivered to the program for review
• Engage with equipment suppliers to discuss technical review comments to achieve deliverables and effective data
• Provide guidance to the team with the review of technical data deliverables of a range of ILS/IPS products including FMECA, LORA, Task Analysis, Recommended Provisioning Lists, Codification, Training products and Technical Publications
• Act as a prime point of contact for support system ILS source data enquiries, collaborate effectively with customers, internal and external stakeholders, establishing good relationships and maintaining a positive work culture
• Provide leadership to a team, coach and develop personnel, fostering a high performance culture
• Develop and maintain metrics to communicate review performance measures, and enable practical decision making

Essential Skills:

• Extensive Integrated Logistics Support (ILS/IPS) support engineering experience
• A technical qualification with a technical aptitude, critical thinking skills
• Demonstrated Microsoft Excel skills, ability to use/write macros, hands on using formulas, desktop publishing/editing skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
• Whilst not essential, previous people leadership experience or technical data analysis experience will be highly regarded
