About the OPPORTUNITY
We have an new opportunity for an Electronics Assembler to join our team based at Edinburgh Parks SA.
You will be responsible for assembling circuit boards and wiring looms as part of a fast-paced defence production team at Edinburgh Parks. You'll follow precise instructions, uphold quality standards, and work collaboratively to deliver reliable electronic components.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assemble PCBs and wiring looms to defence standards
- Hand solder components with precision
- Perform wiring and looming to IPC/MIL specifications
- Maintain safety, quality, and tool care in a fast-paced environment
- Contribute to continuous improvement and team collaboration
About YOU
- Experience in complex electronic circuit card assembly and inspection (preferred but not essential)
- Certification in J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, and IPC 7711/7721 (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in a defence manufacturing environment
- Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
- Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) regulations
