About the OPPORTUNITY
We have a great opportunity for a Program Change Officer to join our Hunter Class Program based at Adelaide, reporting to the Program Change Manager.
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working.
You will be responsible for assisting the program Change Manager to ensure that the technical, cost and schedule goals associated with assigned projects are achieved in accordance with the contractual and company requirements in order to deliver required business goals. The role may also be responsible (with support from the Project Manager) for the planning and delivery of straightforward, small projects or a collection of discrete tasks with defined scope and sufficient scale to require the application of Project Management (PM) within the cost, schedule and quality constraints while managing risk and opportunity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure that change sentenced through the Change Boards is planned, managed and processed efficiently and effectively. Including the preparation and distribution of agenda and minutes for the Change Boards, and managing actions from the Change Boards.
- Capture the Impact of Change, through analysis and reporting
- Support the Delivery of an overall standardised and repeatable Project Change Management Framework / Organisation across all stakeholders; inclusive of IM&T infrastructure
- Be able to provide guidance to stakeholders on the overall Change Management Framework to enable a standardised and consistent application of the change processes
- Work closely with the all stakeholders to enable the effective control of change across the Program (including Engineering, Program Management, Finance and Operations)
- Maintain and enhance the Program Change metrics and reporting
About YOU
- Awareness of Configuration control and/or Change Management is considered advantageous
- Experience in supporting meetings and reporting metrics is considered advantageous
- Experience in major defence or construction projects is considered desirable
- Experience using PLM tools and other ERP tools is considered desirable
- Hold defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain a Baseline clearance
