About the OPPORTUNITY
Based at our Edinburgh, SA Offices, this exciting, newly created role as the Facilities Contract Manager you will lead into service, the transition to an outsourced Facilities Management model. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all contract delivery and performance matters, related to facility maintenance, operations, and services. This role ensures that all facility-related contracts comply with company policies, legal regulations, and service-level agreements while maintaining compliance, cost efficiency and high-quality service delivery.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and service level agreements are met.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of vendor performance, identify areas for improvement and resolve issues to ensure operational excellence.
- Managing relationships with the prime service delivery contractors and other vendors.
- Control Account Management for planned and corrective maintenance on the Radar Site and Battlefield Surveillance Centre facilities.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure appropriate contingency plans are in place for facility services.
- Analyse contract costs and identify opportunities for cost optimisation.
- Act as the primary point of contact for facility vendors, issue resolution and performance reviews.
About YOU
- Australian Citizen, eligible to obtain and maintain a defence security clearance (essential).
- Intermediate MS Office skills, especially in Word and Excel.
- Proven experience in contract management within facilities or operations management.
- Experience working in large-scale or multi-site facility operations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with vendors, internal teams, and executives.
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Project Management or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of procurement, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
- Knowledge of compliance standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices, and sustainable management practices.
