About the OPPORTUNITY
We have a great opportunity for a Supply Chain Change Officer to join our team. Reporting to the Change Manager, this role is responsible for assisting the Change Manager to ensure that the quality, cost and schedule goals associated with assigned projects are achieved in accordance with the contractual and company requirements, to deliver required business goals. Alongside the Change Manager, the Supply Chain Change Officer will also manage the end-to-end supply chain change process and deliverables, including processes, progression, tracking, reporting, meetings and improvements, by liaising and collaborating with various project stakeholders.
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia such as a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working. This role will be based in our Osborne Shipyard office in Adelaide SA
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Change (or Program) Manager with planning and delivery of straight forward to complex projects.
- Planning and delivery of straightforward, small projects or a collection of discrete tasks with defined scope and of sufficient scale to require the application of project management disciplines with support from the Change Manager.
- Manage the end-to-end change management process through supply chain, including obtaining and recording accurate costings, allocating appropriate funding and effective execution of change embodiment.
- Work to established key performance indicators, including timely completion of supply chain change assessments, considering scope, quality, time and cost.
- Generation of status and metric reports, and co-ordination of analysis and management of corrective action activities.
- Develop and maintain supply chain change reporting, processes, progression and guidance, identify and present recommendations for continuous improvements.
- Attend, support and contribute to project and change review meetings.
- Work collaboratively with various stakeholders including; the Change Manager, the Change Team, Engineering, Supply Chain and Supply Chain Planning, to achieve joint outcomes and deliverables
About YOU
- Previous experience in a project, supply chain or business/change management role.
- Experience in the planning and delivery of discrete project outcomes within a low complexity project environment
- Knowledge and experience of Supply Chain processes
- Strong skills in written, oral, and visual communications and presentations
- An ability to develop and strengthen stakeholder relationships and the ability to work cooperatively with others and encourage collaborative problem solving with cross functional teams
- Eligibility for a Negative Vetting Level 1 Defence security clearance
- Intermediate MS Office skills, especially in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
