Your new role:
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for providing commercial support and daily administration of the DDG Transition Support Project Contract as the Managing Contractor and supporting other emerging business opportunities.
More specifically, you will
- Advice and assist the Commercial Manager on all commercial natured issues and identify the need for professional input including on legal, financial and insurance matters
- Administer BAE Systems' contracts in accordance with company procedures and provide support on contractual matter and resolution of commercial issues
- Work closely with commercial and financial management and company specialists to manage the provision of appropriate advice
- Prepare commercial plans, contract amendments and change proposals
- Support customer cost and pricing analysis and coordinate all aspects of minor bids and contract proposals
- Support and maintain internal reporting/records, Intellectual Property registers and export control materials
- Review confidentiality and other agreements for Commercial Manager's approval and support to prepare customer communications and correspondence
About you
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:
- Demonstrated commercial experience preferably in contract management or business administration area is essential
- Well organised, thorough and professional approach, together with a high degree of motivation, initiative and enthusiasm
- Strong team player and communicator with an ability to engage effectively with wide range of stakeholders and customers
- Proficient user of MS Office skills especially word, excel and power point
Whilst, not essential, degree qualification in law, commerce or project management is preferred
