Your new role:
The purpose of this position is to provide operational support for the DFMS project.
In terms of specific responsibilities, you will:
- Provide operational support for the DFMS products within the DFMS network.
- Provide after-hours support for the DFMS products as required
- Perform installations and upgrades of DFMS software products within the DFMS network.
- Proactively monitor networks for problems within the network
- Create and update DFMS support documentation
- Carry out technical investigations for hardware and software issues within the DFMS network
- Provide recommendations to the Support Manager about solutions for issues within the DFMS network
- Conduct and deliver training project specific training at Defence sites as required
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with the customer
About you
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:
- Broad technical ICT experience in multiple areas including networking and systems admin
- Experience in providing support for software products
- Experience in a defence related technical industry
- Knowledge of communications network infrastructure

Clearances
As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
