In terms of more specific responsibilities, you will:
- Monitor accuracy to ensure all maintenance aircraft documentation used during aircraft maintenance activities complies with relevant regulations, using BAE Systems procedures within the Maintenance Management Plan and customer regulations
- Interrogate CAMM2 prior to aircraft being released for clearance
- Incorporate all appropriate documentation for engineering advice, defect reporting and publication amendments as need arises
- Initiate quality reporting relating to Base Maintenance (BM) and Line Maintenance (LM) tasks
- Comply with all relevant military and company publications associated with maintenance control and documentation
- Review maintenance forecasts for service, raising, compiling, archiving and monitoring maintenance paperwork and electronic based maintenance documentation associated with BM and LM
- Ensure log books and Aircraft Technical documentation are appropriately secured for aircraft in the venue
- Responding to requests for reports required from CAMM2
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in the role of CAMM2 Data Controller and have been employed in such a role
- Experience working within an Aircraft Maintenance Organisation with a good understanding of the governance requirements of such an organisation
- The ability to provide guidance as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to employees in the use of CAMM2
- Knowledge and understanding of the requirements of the AAP7001.060 suite of publications in respect to the governance and configuration control of the CAMM2 database
- A tertiary qualification in completion of a CAMM2 Data Managers course
- Extensive experience with the MS Office suite
- The ability to obtain and maintain a defence security clearance of Negative Vetting 1
- The ability to interact effectively with colleagues within and outside his/her immediate team, to implement business requirements
- Flexibility, and be a self-motivated team player who is calm under pressure and used to working at a high tempo in a live aircraft operational environment
- Well-developed self-management skills and demonstrated ability to work under his/her own initiative to deliver outputs to time, quality and cost
- Previous experience in using the ULTRAMAIN maintenance management tool is desirable
A Defence security clearance is required for this role. Applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
