We currently have a new opportunity as a Engineering Change Project Manager within our Maritime Sustainmentprogrambased in Rockingham, WA.
The Engineering Change Project Manager is responsible for the initialising, planning reporting on projects within the Anzac Class Engineering Change programme under the guidance of the Platform Engineering Change (EC) Program Manager.
This will include the management and reporting of budgets and program performance, prioritisation of projects, ensuring the Navy engineering change requirements are satisfied and identifying and managing risk to the EC program.

Your new role:
As the Engineering Change Project Manager you will:
- Support Warship Asset Management Agreement on all issues relating to implementation of the relevant Project's Engineering Change affecting Platform systems on the ANZAC Class.
- Manage, approve and deliver scoping documentation.
- Undertaking of a wide variety of very complex tasks related to Engineering Change policies, programs and procedures.
- Ensure the team achieves the schedule, budget and technical requirements by identifying, monitoring and mitigating programme and project Risks.
- Ensure products/services delivered are in accordance with relevant product safety policies and achieve customer satisfaction.
- Actively participate in design reviews and technical workshops to champion achievement of CM baselines.
- Co-ordinate and track reviews of engineering artefacts delivered for design reviews to ensure they satisfy contracted requirements and support the development of approval documentation form the client.
- Act as the focal point for the respective Project Management teams, external stakeholders and Customer discussions.
- Provide feedback on overall project status to program controls teams.
- Collaboratively align the EC programme to optimise and coordinate delivery of platform integration related activities.
- Assist the Asset Management Group to identify opportunities and understand obsolescence risk.
About you
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:
- Specific project management qualifications are not mandatory but vocational/ trade qualifications or higher education qualifications in project management at degree level and/ or allied disciplines are highly desirable
- Prior experience leading a team/project
- Understanding of cost performance reporting
- Proven experience in decision making and working autonomously
- Defence Experience highly desirable
- Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) clearance required
