Your new role:
In this role, you will be responsible for working with stakeholders in capturing and describing the technical components of the Capability Enhancement and Integration Project (CEIP) – Destroyer Capability Enhancement (DCE) project proposal, using the DCE Program
This opportunity will see you:
- Support the development of the Proposal for the DCE Program scope in order to reach a formal agreement with Defence to proceed.
- Support the development of SEA 4000 Phase 6 for approval by Defence delegates
- Analyse/assess the impact of upgrades on Platform and/or Combat system
- Support the establishment and operation of ERB and CCB sessions in support of incorporation decisions for changes arising during the DCE Program as advice to the DDGSPO PE.
- Establish and maintain an understanding of the impact (risk, schedule & cost) on the DCE Program
- Work with the CEIP-DCE Scheduler to establish criteria for earned value management of activities during the DCE Program scope delivery.
About you
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:
- Demonstrated experience in Systems Engineering
- Sustainment/Ship Building experience within Maritime/Defence industry
- Significant experience within the Engineering discipline with demonstrated experience in the technical development and Systems Design of engineering project
- Engineering Degree qualifications satisfying the requirements for a member of the Institute of Engineers Australia or equivalent experience
