We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Senior Support Engineer – Trainer within our Battlespace Integrated Solutions based in Edinburgh Parks, SA.

Your new role:
The JORN Support Engineer – Trainer will be part of a multi-disciplined team consisting of ILS Analysts, Technical Writers and Trainers.
The role will require the application of ILS and Training knowledge. This role plays a part in influencing early stages of Solution deign and the analysis of approved solution designs.
Within the JORN Sustainment program, the Support Engineer – Trainer will be required to conduct the following:
- Assessment of solution designs for impacts to the existing Training Materiel system;
- Conduct Logistics Support Analysis activities relating to solution design development;
- Support the achievement of contractual requirements relating to Maintenance Competencies;
- Monitoring and reporting against the contractual Maintenance Competency requirements as required by the Contract;
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver training providers to source/deliver training as required by the Maintenance Competency framework; and
- Work with internal and external training providers to source/deliver training as required by the Maintenance Competency framework.
About you:
As an applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:
- Degree or formal qualification in technical training, with a minimum Certificate IV in Training and Assessment at the current release/ or equivalent industry experience
- Formal qualification relevant to the training subject matter/ or equivalent industry experience.
- Sound experience in a defence or a related industry
- Proficiency in computer literacy
- Strong stakeholder and communication engagement
- Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain

As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
