We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Change Manager within our Maritime Business working on the Hunter Class project. This role will be responsible for managing key change initiatives for our Shipyard, delivering world-class technical solutions. Preferred location of this role is Osbourne or Adelaide CBD. 12 month fixed term contract.

Your new role:
In this role, you will be responsible for enabling the execution of change management strategies and providing change management support to the Information, Management & Technology (IM&T) function for the Hunter Class project.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working closely with sponsors, project managers and leaders of impacted teams, on IM&T change initiatives, to ensure specific change activities are undertaken that support the sustainable delivery of change
- Ensuring the change is clearly defined (what) and the value of the change articulated
- Ensuring all impacted parties are kept informed, engaged, trained and have an understanding of the business benefits and how these are linked to the overall strategy
- Developing and managing key stakeholder relationships ensuring collaboration
- Facilitating workshops with stakeholders to develop and implement change management plans focused on maximizing adoption
- Providing advice to project team members, business stakeholders and senior executives on change management risks or issues
- Providing regular and meaningful reports on the delivery of change management plans for the project
About you:
As an ideal applicant, you'll have:
- Demonstrated experience in change management and hands on implementation of change initiatives
- Demonstrated experience working on technical projects whereby the change is multi-faceted, complex and impacts a wide range of stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in coaching and supporting leaders through business change
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous situations and balance conflicting priorities
- Ability to problem solve and take initiative with strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Tertiary qualification and/or Certification in PROSCI, APMG and/or previous experience working in the Defence sector and/or with engineering teams would be highly desirable.
