About the OPPORTUNITY
We have new opportunities for Apprentices to join our Hunter Class Frigate Program based at Osborne & Edinburgh Parks, SA.
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight.
You will be responsible for working across all aspects of the Hunter Class Frigate Program and the Weapons and Manufacturing business unit.
It's an exciting time to join us and a great place to start your career. We are calling for applicants into our 2024 apprenticeship program. Key responsibilities include:
- Apply health and safety in the workplace
- Contributing to improving business culture with regards to people, process and systems
- Fabrication of parts and components
- Machining soft and hard metals
- Service, repair and testing of machinery and equipment
- Design and assembly of simple components
