About the OPPORTUNITY
We currently have a new and exciting two year fixed term opportunity as a Project Manager to join our Maritime Digital, Data and Cyber Security team based in Osborne, South Australia.
This is a key role within the Digital, Data and Cyber Security (DDC) team. Reporting to the Programme Delivery and Risk Manager, you will be responsible to plan and deliver warehouse management solution project including guiding the project execution through the application of project management disciplines in accordance with the BAE Systems Australia LCM framework.
You will require strong stakeholder engagement skill and exposure to delivering Information Technology projects regarding material management/warehousing and track and trace capability.

Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the project team to ensure timely activity, integration, efficient use of time and resources and ensure all project objectives or requirements are properly documented in a business case
- Establish appropriate key success indicators and recommend tradeoffs between scope, quality, time and cost
- Ensure that products and services delivered as a part of the project are in accordance with the product safety policy and provide customer satisfaction
- Identify project opportunities, risk and develop mitigation strategies for pursuit throughout contract phase and monitor/report the status of risks and opportunities
- Complete all closure and wrap-up activities upon project completion including lessons learnt
About YOU
- Significant relevant experience in project management especially in delivering complex digital transformation projects including direct experience in material management or warehousing and track & trace capability in a technology space is essential
- An ability to articulate project strategy/purpose and link to project objectives and deliverables
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal with proven experience in partnering with internal and external parties to understand and articulate outcomes being sought by the project and translating this into a schedule for execution
- Experience or exposure using MS Project, Confluence and Jira is not mandatory for the role but will be looked on favorably
- An ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders at all levels coupled with an understanding and challenging existing ways of working to enable innovative working style and successful outcomes
- Whilst not essential, degree qualification in project management or another relevant discipline will be highly regarded
