About the OPPORTUNITY
We have an opportunity for a Real Estate Portfolio Analyst to join our team based at either our Flinders Street, Edinburgh Parks (SA) or Melbourne Central Office. We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and/or hybrid working.
You will be responsible for:
As the Real Estate Portfolio Analyst you will be responsible for developing and maintaining internal and external data to develop insights that will assist real estate strategy development and decision making.
The role will also be responsible for delivering space planning solutions for sites within the BAE Systems Australia Property Portfolio in conjunction with Regional Managers and the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Gather, manage and maintain data to ensure accuracy of reporting, analysis and decision making (real estate market research, portfolio/ site metrics, benchmarking, internal business plan data, contract information and bids in our pipeline).
- Manage relationships with external consultants in respect to external data collection and intelligence.
- Deliver and maintain space supply and demand forecasts and location assessments.
- Integrate space plans and site allocations into the strategic forecast of business space requirements.
- Drive site-specific space planning with Lines of Business (LoB) and Regional Managers.
About YOU
- Australian citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Essential).
- Previous commercial real estate experience.
- Demonstrated experience in data management and analysis, and experience in a variety of data analysis tools.
- Excellent verbal communication skills at all levels.
- Business Degree/ Diploma (Majoring in Property) qualified (desirable).
- Intermediate MS Office skills, especially in Word and Excel.
