About the OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our ADHOC Engineering team based at Garden Island, NSW.
Reporting to the Project Manager you will be responsible for reviewing the design and development of electrical systems and equipment in-line with the company requirements in order to achieve the required business performance. The Electrical Engineer will also mentor junior members, graduates and interns as applicable.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct reviews of electrical engineering design documentation for the assigned engineering changes for the rapid insertion capability upgrades
- Be involved in projects, upgrading the capability of our customers products
- Assessing risk and proposing solutions to mitigate any identified risk
- Work along with broader teams to ensure project goals are achieved
- Undertake any other task as required by the engineering team leads
About YOU
- Tertiary qualifications in Electronics Engineering or similar
- Be an experienced Electrical Engineer with a preferred background Defence, rail, oil & gas, mining, and power generation all highly desired
- Have a good understanding of requirements analysis, design, verification and other systems engineering principles
- Experience in developing detailed engineering work packages
- Sound understanding of Technical Regulatory Framework is desirable
