About the OPPORTUNITY
We currently have an exciting new opportunity to join us a Delivery Data Analyst where you will be part of Australia's premier defence project! Supporting the Hunter Class Frigate Program.
Reporting to the Detailed Design Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for developing schedules and task tracking lists, providing actionable insights through data analysis, and creating automated solutions to streamline processes and improve efficiency. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, particularly engineering and CAD teams, to ensure seamless data flow, accurate task tracking, and optimized data governance practices.
This role will be based out of our Osborne Shipyard office. We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Maintain and update Product Lifecycle Management data within scheduling and reporting tools, ensuring high standards of data integrity and consistency.
- Ensure CAD drawings and task data are integrated accurately across reporting databases and schedules
- Track and analyse task progress, resource allocation, and delivery milestones to support project management goals.
- Facilitate real-time data synchronization between CAD models and scheduling systems to ensure current information is available for production planning.
- Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools e.g., Tableau, Power BI to support Earned Value Management (EVM), monitor resource usage, and provide forecast insights.
- Identify and implement process improvements for data management and integration to increase efficiency and reduce errors in reporting.
About YOU
You'll have:
- Relevant qualification related to Computer Science, Business Analysis, Data Analytics or similar
- Proficient in analysing in data analysis management tools, including Python, SQL and Excel
- Proficient in analysing complex datasets and integrating data from various systems
- A strong focus on process optimisation and workflow automation
- A background working with engineering and CAD designers is highly preferred
- Familiarity with PLM Systems (e.g. Windchil) and CAD software's (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Think Design) is preferred
