About the OPPORTUNITY
We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Ship Agent within our Maritime Sustainment based in Garden Island, NSW
This is an incredible opportunity to become a Ship Agent for DDG CLCM and play a critical role in ensuring the DDG Ship is in an optimal material state. Reporting into the CLCM Maintenance Manager, the ship agent will be the primary contact for the oversight of RMC execution of AWL and annual planning activities. The scope will include the planning at an annual level of all technical maintenance intervals, related maintenance to support certification, technical assurance, and planning activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Attend production and planning meetings, provide guidance as required to deliver the project objectives;
- Review and process PIR's that relate to providing conduit to CLCM engineering and driving updates to maintenance baseline as required;
- Prioritisation of CM for promulgation to RMC for acquittal;
- Maintenance of operating history, failure data and trends;
- Collation and reporting of PIR data trends and Task Progression Completion Certificate (TPCC) compliance.
About YOU
- Trade qualification, engineering and/or program/project management experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in a maritime sustainment or defence environment
- Ability to balance conflicting priorities to deliver against customer and business requirements
- Proactive problem-solver who can adapt plans and prioritize tasks independently
- Experience with stakeholder management
- Ability to adapt written and verbal communication skills to suit a variety of difference audiences
- Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain,
- Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
