About the OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for a LSAR Integration Officer to join our program based at Garden Island, Canberra or anywhere around Australia, reporting to the Combat Systems Lead.

Join a high-demand ILS role in Defence Maritime's top project, working within a dynamic team and engaging diverse stakeholders to open new opportunities.
Reporting to the ILS Lead, you will be responsible for helping to prepare the ship during its upgrade while learning to influence key stakeholders for successful outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Bringing stakeholders together and collaborate, drive outcomes and open communication channels.
- Conduct risk assessments on the equipment and system being investigated.
- Draw conclusions and propose recommendations to improve equipment and system reliability based on LSA data and available evidence.
- Complete and deliver reporting documentation on time, to an agreed schedule.
- Make decisions within own sphere of responsibility and delegated authority.
- Assist in the development of project infrastructure such as tools deployment, metrics collection and process development.
About YOU
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering OR equivalent experience working as a technician.
- Experience in the technical review and reporting of data relative to the mechanical and electrical health of systems and equipment.
- Experience in the operation and maintenance of those systems in a defence or related technical industry.
- Proven working experience with logistics will be highly regarded.
- Defence experience will be highly regarded.
- Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain.
- Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations.
